E.U.R. at the EZA
Cooperation in Europe
Report by Anne Kappl

The European Union of Rechtspfleger (E.U.R.) continued on 28 November 2011 its contacts with the European Centre for Workers' Questions (EZA). The President of the E.U.R. Thomas Kappl had a conversation about the cooperation at the offices of the General Secretary of the EZA in Königswinter, Ms. Roswitha Gottbehüt.
The EZA is a network of 67 workers' organizations from 24 European countries and leads through about 60 seminars with the following main topics every year about the European social dialog:
- Social dialogue in the process of European enlargement and integration,
- The role of social partners, information and consultation, participation of employees,
- Structural challenges in the labor market, - More and better jobs,
- Balance between flexibility and security,
- Equal opportunities for women and men in the labor market, compatibility of familylife and work,
- Mobility and migration of workers.
Miss Gottbehüt and the president of the E.U.R. agreed that the E.U.R. has to be integrated into the European social dialogue. Between two organizations, a regular exchange of information and participation in different events will take place. Kappl sees in EZA an important platform to implement European Working purposefully.
