European Rechtspfleger also for Algeria?

On 18 May 2009 a representative of the Algerian Ministry of Justice, Mr. Omar Tobache, advising director for the affairs of the court clerks in Algeria, and the President of the Algerian association SNGA (Syndicat National des Greffiers Algériens), Herr Adelkader Guebaz, met the European Union of Rechtspfleger (E.U.R.), represented by the President Thomas Kappl, the General Secretary Adelheid Hell, the Treasurer Harald Wilsch, as well as the permanent representative of the E.U.R. at the Council of Europe Jean-Jacques Kuster, at the same time representative of the French association USAJ (Union Syndicale Autonome Justice).

In a friendly discussion the Algerian delegation presented the career profile of the Algerian court clerk in the meeting room of the Bavarian Constitutional Court Yard in Munich. Both associations agreed in promoting the co-operation. The Algerian association intends to become an associated member of the E.U.R. in 2010. Jean-Jacques Kuster handed over the magazin of the French association to the president of the Algerian association. The president of the E.U.R. handed over to him the Green Paper for a European Rechtspfleger, which can be useful for the Algerian Ministry of Justice for the reform of justice.

The exchange of ideas shall be continued and intensified.
